Carl Haarer, radio reporter and poet, will present the annual Umble Master Class in Communication at Goshen College, Goshen, Indiana, on November 16 and 17, 2009. As reporter for radio station WBZ in Boston, Carl has won four Edward R. Murrow National Awards for Writing and one Edward R. Murrow Award for Feature Reporting. Among his six public presentations at Goshen College, he will discuss poetry at 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 16 and give the keynote address on "Breathe on me, breath of God" at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 17.
